The 12th edition of the lolaHESG (lowlands Health Economic Study Group) conference will be held on May 28-29, 2020. The conference is open to everyone, especially those that are interested in health economics are warmly invited to attend the event and encouraged to submit an abstract related to ongoing research. As in previous years, much time will be devoted to in-depth discussions of work in progress for the accepted abstracts. The conference will therefore offer an excellent opportunity to get feedback on your research and informally exchange ideas with other health economic researchers.

Professor Stephanie von Hinke will give this year's keynote lecture about the use of genetic information in health economics research to strengthen causal inference in observational research.

This year, the conference is being organized by the Amsterdam University Medical Centers-location VUmc, the Groningen University Medical Center and the University of Groningen.
